After several instances of seeing girls ill-informed and ashamed of their Menstrual cycles, Anvi Ahuja
After several instances of seeing girls ill-informed and ashamed of their Menstrual cycles, Anvi Ahuja, a high school student from Panipat, decided to take a stand against these beliefs that have put a limit on girls potential for centuries. After getting inspired by the famous TEDxTalk by Mrs. Aditi Gupta, Founder of Menstrupedia and taking the stage at TEDxDelhi to voice her views on the matter, she took on the journey to change the narrative about Menstruation in the Indian society. She single-handedly started conducting workshops in Haryana and Delhi and later got joined by driven youngsters from across the country. The urge to take a stand has made Nazariya reach out to over 3,400 students across 5 states in India.

See what people have to say abous us
Nazariya made me understand that my Period is normal and something I shouldn’t be ashamed of.
My students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and had great insight into their anatomy and body processes.
I got the courage to stand up against age old Menstrual taboos that my family had held on to .
The more we talk about it, the more we know about, and it’ll be less of a taboo. Kudos to you for this great initiative.
Nazariya is putting in so much effort to normalise the concept of period. at their event I learnt so many things i didn’t even know existed.
Impressive how a teenager is keen on making this place a better world. More power to Nazariya!
